The Hive Brasil community is planning to create a series of tutorials in Portuguese to help with the onboarding of newcomers. We would like to know what are the main things new people struggle with when they first join Hive so we can cover those in our posts. Please share your opinions in the comments.
Thanks!
There's also newbie guides collection that you can check out as a reference. https://peakd.com/@newbies-guide
Thanks!
Everyone creating an account should consider powering up at least 10 HIVE ASAP.
Most of the new accounts lack resource credits. Delegate resource credits to every new user so they can do multiple transactions.
Otherwise it is over after creating your profile and writing 1 comment they will have to wait so their RC replenishes...
Yea good point. We are including a tutorial on how to make a good introduction post. Those usually get decent curation and should help them get started
I believe it's a great idea, so that when newbies join they can have initial content to guide them, this can make a huge difference for them, even helping them to stay active and motivated for much longer.
This is definitely a great initiative. I usually direct people to https://hive.blog/faq.html. This site has most of the basic details and I personally got most of the knowledge from there. You can get some points and ideas from here too.
That's a great tip! Thank you!
Everything actually, from basic tutorials for every feature on each #DApp to answering basic questions on how to succeed here and even tips to work around some missing feature and bugs when they are encountered. We need many #howtos on everything.
explain the different keys
