The year 2021 was such a memorable year as it saw the cryptocurrency space experience the good, bad and ugly stuffs. We saw big names and popular industries coming into the space. Bitcoin reached an all-time high, NFT grew alongside DeFi. El-salvador made BTC a legal tender.
Equally, Memecoins gained grounds and became even more popular. The first African Memecoin even surfaced - Wakanda Inu. On the other hand, we saw many lambo airdrops particularly, retroactive airdrops. Our dear Hive attained an all-time high in price too. Cryptocurrency adoption saw a record increase in adoption.
Speaking of the ugly, many DeFi projects got hacked and countless users lost their money to hackers. China ban cryptocurrency mining while futures trading liquidated billions of dollars. That's just a sneak peak of what transpired in 2021.
However, in the course of the bull run, there were some projects that did outstandingly. We'll briefly look at them.

Based on the tokenomics at the heart of Terra (stablecoins and LUNA), the inter-chain adoption, as well as the amount of development activity underway across various crypto sectors (from DeFi to NFTs to Gaming), I believe there is a good chance it will make your list again at the end of this new year.
