Too Much Money

Too few people have too much money and they control a huge portion of the world's wealth.

If you check Forbes list of richest people in the world, check their net worths and you'll realize that just a handful of billionaires control more wealth than entire countries on earth right now.

Money is money and is used as a medium of exchange but certain amounts of money in the hands of one individual is no longer just a means or exchange, it's power.

Power concentrated to just a few people is going to lead to a big mess or could lead to good things of those with it have good intentions.

They say absolute power corrupts absolutely, I believe and respect that. The kind of power extremely wealthy billionaires have could cause them to mess up.

But you see, consider the fact that they built major companies and that's why led to their wealth getting generated. Of course, it's in a way, outsmarting everyone else and they do deserve the money they work for, every bit of it.

But I think anyone with such amount of money should be given a set of standards to follow so they don't abuse the wealth they've been given.

Few people enjoy excessive luxury while millions struggle with poverty.

This is what I consider, extreme inequality. This inequality always weakens economies. It limits opportunities.

If a very Rich guy has loads of cash, you could with money purchase most businesses in an area or community. He could manipulate sales and determine everything.

The tension of society is increasing because of this situation. More of the wealth in few people's hands equals less innovation and less competition.

They can just manipulate the stock market with their wealth they can create businesses that are focused on making sure the startups can't even have a valuable proposition for customers.

Amazon company does that. They sell some products so cheap they even run at a loss and they do so to stop other startups from rising.

The Government usually favor the rich, which just worsens inequality.

Now I'm not saying we should take the money from the rich, that theory will never work. The rich put in effort for their money.

What I am saying is we should restructure society in a way to stop this from happening. How? We can start with giving fair wages.

The boss of a company is paid really high for overseeing but the truth is the real workers of the business are paid peanuts. We don't have to over pay anyone but we can just give a decent salary to the good workers that put effort in their work.

Taxation can be looked at and worked on. Why put more tax pressure on a poor man who's trying to build something. When someone wants to build a business which will contribute to improvement and development of a nation, the government could give tax cuts that facilitate their faster growth.

We need to create a financial balance in the world and the way to do it is to establish systems that benefit more people than fewer people.

The aim is that money should circulate and not pile up in a few hands. Too much money for few would mean too little for many.

I think it's more of the responsibility of the poor to also not just work hard but think of ways of becoming richer so we'll more people making money in the world.
