Odysee is an excellent platform to seek and consume content, not limited to video, but including a variety of media such as PDF's. One of my favorite aspects of Odysee is the comments that are often quite fractious, as substantive discussions should be.
Thanks!
Edit: something that has degraded the comment sections on Odysee is the ability of creators to require a financial payment for making a comment. This has reduced comment sections that use this mechanism, in most cases to nothing. While the cost imposed to make a comment is tiny, the LBC currency that is necessary to pay that cost isn't widely held and this reduces the market for comments on Odysee as a result.
My observation is that many creators are inconvenienced by fractious comments, because some of them present information challenging the creator's presentation and this recommends they respond to defend their theses. As important as forthright discussions are to education and dissemination of relevant factual information and policies, creators tend to - like everyone else - have their own views that they are more or less dedicated to. This tends to reduce their impetus to enter into forthright discussions that challenges their biases.
Further, everyone seeks to improve their ROI, and the potentially unending discussion that can ensue increases the amount of time and effort creators expend to earn from their content. Ideally creators would always be right and their content would not require additional discussion to support, but, of course, this is not the case. I observe that creators that impose the requirement to pay to comment are those most intent on ROI, and/or those seeking to control discussion seeking to limit criticism of their policies.
