My continuous snooping around for NFT projects has led me to two very interesting finds: one that finishes in an hour and a half and one with a deadline for next Saturday. It seems like Artvatars and Polkamon have something special in store for their early adaptors.

This is quite an anticipated project on the popular polkastarter platform and to my knowledge the first in its kind in a couple of ways:

The goal of the team is to create an unmatched NFT collection and a solution to the liquidity challenge.

Our vision is best described as three layers that are the building blocks for a modern and sustainable collectibles ecosystem. The base is the NFT-based decentralized ownership system supported by an ERC20 Token for increased liquidity and trade ease. Built upon that is a layer that enriches the sole NFTs by detail-rich visuals and metadata. And the highest level is the application level, where the proven ownership together with visuals and metadata creates a large universe of utilization.

A free egg

Well, actually not totally free, since you have to pay the gas fee to lock in your chance to get a free egg, chances are small to actually get a baby dragon, but they also represent a token that gets you into the $PMON token sale. Since the overwhelming support and attention this project is getting (111k eggs have been claimed), I think paying the 7 usd gas fee is quite a reasonable gamble. I am a bit late with this info, because the eggs will hatch in about 1h30 starting from the moment I publish this post. #weneedprojectblank (Keep reading though, because you have a bit more time to claim a real Artvatars freebie).

It’s only been a few short days since we announced our #ClaimYourEgg campaign, and already we are making history with more than 111,000 unique addresses having claimed their mysterious Polkamon egg. In gas fees alone, we estimate Polkamon fans have spent more than $1 million claiming eggs for their chance to participate in our upcoming IDO on Polkastarter this March 31st.

Very soon, the mysterious Polkamon eggs will hatch and 80 randomly-selected winners will receive their very own Moonrock Capital x Morningstar Ventures Silver Baby Dragon. This represents the first time ever an NFT has been given away in this manner and subsequently used to grant access to a token offering. We believe this whitelisting model epitomises the way in which Polkamon combines the best of NFTs with strong token metrics. In doing so, we are gaining the support of hardcore NFT collectors and altcoin traders alike.

Furthermore, by minting the Baby Dragon NFT’s before the IDO date we’re introducing a unique and never-before-seen dynamic. The NFTs, and with them their Polkastarter allocations, can actually be traded prior to when we take the Baby Dragon holder snapshot at 7am UTC, March 31st. For a brief period of time, the Baby Dragons will trade as non-fungible futures tokens for the performance of $PMON tokens. We can’t wait to see what happens!
