Money isn't everything.
I wish more black people understood this. But we don't.
It's odd too cause, we won't work together to build wealth; we turn down Real Income Opportunities; We won't discuss real estate investing, won't talk stock market, and aren't paying attention to Crypto. Many of us are afraid to start our own businesses, or won't support the black owned businesses we know of. I do see us improving in that last area though ...
and that's how things go; everything is a process;
change always takes time.
and I hope I'm still here to witness when black people realize all the other stuff I'm talking about, matters too.
Not all money is good money. That's the old saying; the ancient wisdom from the ancestors that not enough of us abide by now. I've angered people when saying MOST black people are sellouts; but this is what I mean - MOST black people do not understand why Kyrie would pass on Millions, over a shot; To them, it's a small price to pay; THEY would do it in a heartbeat; and so THEY think others should think the way THEY do; but not everyone is a sellout .......
Not everyone is going to SELL their beliefs OUT .... for money.
MOST of us will though; and that's precisely how they keep us under their thumb; Cause all that other stuff I mentioned in the opening, we often don't have time or energy for, cause we spent it all on a white man's job (plantation) -- when we get home, we don't wanna read nothin, we don't wanna think; we just want some mindless entertainment, maybe a drink, and it's time to go to sleep .... to do it all again tomorrow.
They got us TRAPPED in a cycle; a rat race; TOO Tired to get out; OUR energies used up for another man's dream; NO time to pursue our own; The MONEY got us.... the money ... got us .... the money ..... the money .....
Need that money to pay bills right?
Need that money to eat!
Can't buy NEW clothes without that money!
Need gas for the car, money!
Like, these things really do matter! But instead of setting up a foundation to ensure these NEEDS are met, without having to sell our souls for the money we need .... we end up selling our souls, for the money we need. We're not growing our own foods ... We're not learning how to Sew our own Clothes .... We're not storing up FUNDS to help one another with bills, and gas money .... we have no sense of 'community' or 'group' ... not really;
WE individuals out here!!!
Nobody can tell us what to do!!!!
Unless they got that money.....
obviously I'm admitting money is important; and we need it to live. but I am saying we should care as much about 'how' we earn money, as we do 'how much' money we earn
