While technically in my little corner of the world there's still a few hours left in August (I'm posting this at about 9pm EST), #HivePUD for September 1st 2021 has already arrived in other parts of the world. AND TO CLARIFY:
- If you want to qualify for the AMAZING Hive Power Up Day badge(s), your power up must happen during the 24 hours of September 1st, 2021 according to UTC time.
and/or
- If you want to qualify for the #HivePUD prize pool, your power up and post must happen (according to criteria listed below) during the hours of September 1st, your local time.
As I said last month, I've changed things up a bit with these monthly posts. You can find the details in this month's announcement post, along with the fact that...
- The payout from this post (aka the beneficiaries) is split equally between the three winners from @victoriabsb's August Hispanic #HPUD initiative, so @el-hallazgo, @fabianar25, and @hjrrodriguez will each get 33%.
I'm also keeping this as brief and to the point as possible, since my usual wall o' text posts have been a bit much to get through for some. I'm trying to find that balance between friendly and informative versus matter-of-fact and not-as-informative. 😄

What are the rules to win prizes for HivePUD?
The requirements are:
- Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70.
- Your total Hive Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.
- You must power up at least 10 Hive on September 1st.
- You must write a post about your power up on September 1st with the tag #HivePUD (International) or #HPUD (Hispanic).
To be included in the winners list, you must meet all four requirements above. The order of the list (first place, second place, and so on) will be determined by the biggest PERCENTAGE of Hive powered up, not necessarily the most Hive powered up.

Actually, it looks like you did it on the right day, but you didn't use either of the hashtags to tag your post...
I do see that you have #HivePUD / #HPUD in the body of your post, but it looks like that doesn't turn up in searches because that's different than actually tagging your post (at least as far as I know - if someone knows otherwise please shout out). I don't believe this has ever happened before either... hmmmm.... 🤔

That's possible, but there's only so much I can do. The rules are pretty simple and I do my best to help people if they're not sure how it works. If you have any ideas on how to find others who might miss out because they've made mistakes, I'd be happy to hear them. 😊
In the meantime, it looks like you powered up 10.295%, which would've put you in the 21st spot on the official list, meaning you would have only been eligible for the random drawings for prizes if you'd shown up in the data. Since I haven't done the drawings yet, I will make a point of including your name in them. If you end up winning anything, I'll tag you later on today with the other winners. How does that sound?
