Jordan Belfort, better known as "The Wolf of Wall Stret" recanted and changed his opinion about bitcoin in an interview that was published on March 21. He admitted he was wrong and predicted that bitcoin would reach $100K.

"When bitcoin was hitting USD 19,000 in late 2017, I was on a TV show and I told the audience that it would collapse", Jordan said. And he says he was right at the time because bitcoin was "hard to sell and easy to buy, all things that contribute to manipulation" he said.

In addition Jordan said in that past interview that bitcoin would lend itself to money laundering, so regulators would shun the cryptocurrency. "I thought bitcoin accounts in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands would be exposed. I thought bitcoin would initially take hold and then regularize to close", he said.

But now 2021 indicates the BTC is here to stay. "Bitcoin now has a much larger buyer base than ever before", he indicated. He also said "new investors will continue to drive up the price."

And he is not the only one who thinks that Bitcoin will reach $100K. In fact other analysts, such as Willy Woo and Bobby Lee (CEO of wallet firm Ballet) predict the BTC will reach prices of $200K and $300K by the end of 2021.

I personally have been following Bitcoin since it was worth $600. I saw when it broke $20K and how it reached the new all time high at $61K. It would not be unreasonable to think the BTC will reach at least $100K. What do you guys think about it?

I hope you find this post useful. Best regards! 👋
