For some Hivers, the income is a lifeline. For others, it's just a hobby. I think that you bring up a good point about people not having to work for small wages when they can earn that just by Hiving. Business will have to change, eventually, where employers are partnering up with employees for a share of the profits rather than paying out to shareholders. This could eventually turn out to make things more fulfilling for everybody.

I agree, the wealth redistribution is amazing just the simple concept of 50/50 is a significant turning point for global economics.
I truly believe we're seeing the commencement of a new economic model and what greatly benefited corporations in the 80s and 90s through globalisation is now arising amongst people.
Time will tell I guess but I'm happy to go along for the ride.
You've sparked an idea with the mention of corporate globalisation. I'm going to sit and chew on that for a bit. Having done my taxes yesterday, some of the questions have to do with owning stocks in foreign corporations or having foreign bank accounts. It seems to me crypto is like quantum physics. It is neither here nor there. But, it's also here and there. Hmmm

Depends where you are in the globe. In Australia this is just another media content creation and classed as income.
