Unpacking of late crypto presents

in Rant, Complain, Talk2 months ago (edited)

Good day dear mates! As some of you may know in October I celebrated my HIVE birthday, and in November I celebrated my real life birthday. In my company friends and some relatives know that I'm interested in crypto. And also we have good tradition to discuss with others what we want to receive as a present for birthday. With friends we use wishlists available online.
So in this year I had such kind of dialog about presents and crypto with one of my friends if I'm not wrong in September after what he flight out to his business trip for couple months. And just several days ago he came back and we met in local cafe.
And while our meeting he gave me "small" box and said that it's a my birhday present.

After receiving the gift I was excited to get home and take a look at what was hidden inside.
I don't know about you, but I often have that feeling when you receive something hidden and unknown and wait for a miracle like magic and enchantment. It brings you back to those moments of childhood when you look under the Christmas tree and wait and look for the moment when you can open your present. That was the feeling I had when I arrived home.
Now let's see what I found inside of it...
Inside of festive box I found SafePal S1cold crypto wallet. Yes you read it right it is cold crypto wallet.

As you can see it is packed in nice box with seal to protect it from unwanted opening before first usage.

So after charging wallet battery I started it's set up. I downloaded mobile app for it. And made builtin check out procedure to be shure that it's first time when wallet was turned on and activated it with qr-code.
After what I created seed phrase for new wallet and connected SafePal S1 to mobile app. By the way SafePal supports 12, 18, 24 words seed phrases.

Besides wallet inside I found sheets to save my seed phrase, and usb type C wire to connect and to recharge wallet.

If to talk about software for this device it regulary updates on the official site of SafePal wallet
Also you can swap coins straight in app or in browser extension.
Of course SafePal has different accessories. Hardware wallet easyly upgradable via your PC. It takes just several minutes to connect it to PC. If you have troubles with it you can get support via official channels like telegram or discord.
So as a conclusion I can say that in my region SafePal not so popular like Ledger wallet but I'm glad that received such actual present at this bull run time and hope it'll work for ages!

According to it SafePal supports Visa gateway and receive a Safepal Visa card. Also as I knew later SafePal supports a lot of different coins and networks. List of all supportable coins you can find at https://safepal.com/en/coin/lists That's all for now! Stay tuned! Yours @travoved P.s. title image source https://www.stackumbrella.com
