Apple took us closer to metaverse actually happening. But it will take years for it to get to masses. But devs will start developing next year I guess.

It will take years for the technology to be to the point where it is viable to have full immersion on mobile. That is where it needs to be and edge computing needs to be supercharged for that.
All new tech is always crazy expensive. Mass adoption for this wont happen for a few more years for sure.
