What's up plebs?!?!
This is the sixth installment of me participating in the Stackers Twelve Days of Christmas. As a reminder, this is a fun initiative by @silverd510 that anyone is welcome to join.
Here's the quick gist
Each day you post a gift that you would like to receive for Christmas. It needs to be precious metal related to qualify. The items can be something youβd like from our silvergoldstackers Secret Santa. Or they could also be something that you really truly wish was a possible gift. source
Don't forget to use the #silvergoldstackers tag if you decide to give it a go :D
So far, the stuff I have shown you are mostly in the cute/animal category but today I have something a bit more...epic!
It belongs to a series called Legendary Warriors which first came to my attention thanks to a beautiful coin dedicated to Achilles that @silverd510 the secret Santa gifted me last year:
Most other coins in the series are quite meh if you ask me, but there's one I really dig:
Now that's a proper manly viking coin, dedicated to Eric Bloodaxe
Eric Haraldsson (Old Norse: EirΓkr Haraldsson [ΛΙiΛriΛkzΜ ΛhΙrΛΙldsΛson], Norwegian: Eirik Haraldsson; fl. c.930β954), nicknamed Bloodaxe (Old Norse: blóðøx [ΛbloΛΓ°ΛΓΈks], Norwegian: BlodΓΈks) and Brother-Slayer (Latin: fratrum interfector), was a Norwegian king. He ruled as King of Norway from 932 to 934, and twice as King of Northumbria: from 947 to 948, and again from 952 to 954. source
Price wise, it goes for about 39$ in the various places I checked.
There's also a special colored version that is just so FUCKING COOL
Unfortunately this one a bit expensive at about 100$. Yeah, not something for a pleb like me π
Ok, I think this concludes today's piece! Another great option for my #silvergoldstackers secret Santa ππ

Eric Bloodaxe, an epic silver round!
"Great Odin. we bid farewell to our greatest Viking warrior.
May he serve you well in the great halls of Valhalla!"
"Damn cheap Chinese made bows."
Old Bloodaxe...
Love the name... A man's name...
It looks like a great coin. It's making me want to watch Vinland Saga again to see all those Vikings.
