What's up plebs?!
Got another shiny silver coin for your viewing pleasure today:
Let's have a closer before talking a bit about it:
So, today we have a Brazilian coin, 2000 REIS minted in 1927. The denomination on the obverse is flanked by branches of coffee and tobacco, both important crops in Brazil at the time.
As for the obverse, it features the effigy of the Republic, depicted as a classical female bust facing left, wearing the Phrygian cap a long standing symbol for freedom and liberty.
There's also the text
REPUBLICA DOS ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRASIL
For
Republic of the United States of Brazil
Silverwise, we have 8 g of 0.500. Not great, not terrible.
I guess more than enough for a night's meal in a potential economic collapse scenario. Maybe enough for a woman's warmth too 🙃
All in all, a pretty standard coin from the era. I got it for spot price as part of bundle deal so I think I did well enough.
Ok friends, this is it for today. I keep stacking more and more shiny every month so I have plenty of stuff to still share ☺️
Have a good one.

The coffee and tobacco branches on the design makes it hella cool, it shows me exactly what was important back then. Keep stacking em man, perhaps one day, one silver will be like a million dollars and that's when I'll be foy over to your place, sit on your couch , look straight at you and say you're GOATED man
It's a safe heaven for inflation that's for sure 😊 And collecting is fun as well!
nice one Mr TrumpMan, nice one

So much winning for you
You know that even the country name changed? ;p It isn't "Republica dos Estados Unidos do Brasil" now the country name is " Republica Federativa do Brasil"
Yeah I actually googled it! Always learning new things with old coinage

Old coin, always good stuff
!PIZZA
It may be a day's pay for hand picking 50 lbs of ripe coffee beans. I can't remember which side of a local cup of 'Fair-trade coffee' brand I read this from. ☕️
"Does this coin hold any particular value or use in today’s world? If yes, what could be its estimated worth now?"
There is the inherent silver value in it !
Good with the stacking. What do you intend to do with them at the long run?
No idea, mostly stacking for now :D
Ok..hopefully you will figure out with time
But can’t they be exchanged for fiat at the bank?
You like old ladies so I know you’d bang her……

It's a nice coin. Getting it at spot price means it was a pretty good deal.
