I think that by this point the proof of brain tribe doesn't need an introduction. However, if you are unfamiliar with it leave me a comment and I will tell you more about it and its very interesting tokenomics.
Back on topic now, here are some very interesting messages dropped by the founder of the tribe over the discord the last few days, showcasing his future plans and vision about the future:

But imo the biggest bomb is this:
Although I have heard of it before, I must say that I'm not very familiar with Solana and what it can do.
However, I do know that hive engine is pretty limited in what it can deliver.
And moving/building/collaborating with Solana (or an other chain) may open doors that are pretty much shut with hive engine, like faster loading times or listings to other exchanges.
Take leofinance for example, that had to come up (and pay a shit ton for developers!) to somewhat circumvent these problems.
Also another problem with tribes is that since our hive community is so small they tend to cannibalize one another when it comes to traffic and users, so it would be very nice to see PoB building on another chain!
Its good to know that the founder is looking at cross chain stuff or maybe even moving to its own chain.
Anyways, that's pretty much all that's hot about PoB at this moment. Please note that purpose of this post is not to get you to FOMO.
Personally, I think that at this point the price of pob is quite expensive considering the current size of the community and the CURRENT developments.
For this reason I will keep the same strategy I have been following for the last month or so. Stake half of my earnings and curation rewards, sell the rest. If prices goes down eventually as I think they will, I will buy a strong position.
If they don't and I turn out to be wrong I will still be very happy as I have managed to acquire a respectable stake in the top-25 thanks to being an early adopter :)
Please note that all of them both are just mine interpretation and speculation.
Whether you invest in pob or not it's totally up to you. But it certainly won't harm to use the pob tag on all your posts or even use the native interface at https://www.proofofbrain.io/ to try and earn yourself some free tokens! And mayne stake some or all.

Wow, those are some pretty big plans they have in the works. Hopefully it all works out for them. I have been kind of off the grid for the past couple of days, so it looks like I already missed the whole ads thing. Those seem to be doing pretty well so far. I am not sure how I feel about another chain. I guess as long as they don't abandon Hive I am okay with that. It always rubs me a little wrong when projects jump ship after they have made their way off our backs.

Well dlive had a huge delegation from Ned so you can't really compare the two. Dlive leeched the ecosystem and the investors who actually bought steem. Tribes don't do that.
Whaleshares was run by hippie idiots that chased of investors. And blurt was essentially hive just minus the downvoted and all the burdens that come with hive (e.g. still the unfair token distribution, thanks to a the fuck ups by ned and friends)

Yeah. I remember being pissed with Dlive. Whaleshares and Blurt just seemed like content dumping grounds. There was another platform that was recently sold or something and I guess it shut down. Some old members of this community were there but I can't remember the name or the details.
Whalesshares was a bit refreshing and I was quite excited about it at first. But then they removed the flags, and then chased off investors and said idiotic stuff about how exchanges and marketing are bad for growth blah blah blah. And then that was that of them.
Last time I checked they even struggled to get enough witnesses and 100$ were more than enough to make you a megawhale there. Hippies gonna hippie !
There's always those guys on the jobsite that think they know better, so you hand them the tools, and they just end up in the hospital.

Building on Solana would be huge, really HUGE. And that could just drive the price up a lot... but as with all these things, I'm always careful when buying. What went up so quickly usually comes down again, and then it's a great time to buy in. If I have Hive at that time at least. Lol ...

I hope at some point hive can deliver such of the things we would need here. Like real smart contracts.
In the years, we lost so many promising projects because of this. Even more on "wait for SMTs" and so on.
Hive would be today much much higher in price if it could offer a Free sandbox, where everyone could build with all onchain tools they need.

I listen to the Unchained podcast (maybe unconfirmed... one of them) and Solana was heavily discussed as an Ethereum killer. I tend to agree with those who preach the room for all gospel so I don’t buy into the killers philosophy at this point but the fact it’s considered that prominent certainty does bolster this teaser. 😊

Well your strategy is quite good, I think creating a store to buy real stuff would be amazing. I haven't heard of Solana before, im building my stake too and earning off my curation reward. Hit 1k POB recently and to be sincere, should prices drop i'll make sure to buy as well.
Will we have something similar to Leo for a bridge over to Solana? I think it will probably require quite a bit of work to do so. Personally I am hoping either the store or the website comes out soon so we can actually see things happening.

My stake has grown quite well since I started using #proofofbrain tag in all of my posts. And recently I have started following a similar strategy. Stake 50%, Sell the rest.
Solana is a great blockchain. Having fast transactions and low fees. Not sure if it going to go well with Social Media platforms like PoB. Leave it to the devs though. ;)

I think it makes no difference from an earnings perspective. But you do help the tribe when you do that (better seo, higher revenue). I guess you get more visibility too.
Its generic so it's great when you want to post something that isn't too niche (like Leo).
How often do you do that and do you sell whatever the price? I tend to waste too much time faffing around when I've tried this with other tokens so, so far, I've staked all my proofofbrain. But 50/50 is a better strategy I think.

Just like any other tribe but the unique aspect is it is 100% Proof of Brain which means , no miners , no pre sale nothing . The earnings are only through author rewards and curation rewards ( extending to beneficiary rewards ) .

I agree with all that you have said and more. The HE volume has moved from LEO to POB by the looks of things and without more users growth won't be happening there. MATIC could be another potential solution if not Solana, though I think both will need some development work done as well. Maybe LEO might look at another chain in the long run too? HIVE is a great chain but HE is limiting!

That's we are waiting for. More tribes work together with other chain developers so that the tribe will not compete with other tribes in hive network. if POB only works on hive, there will be new tribes that offer better reward. What then? Hive users will migrate to the new tribe.

I knew about the new interface (based on Ecency from what I heard) and read AMR's proposal to add ads to POB, but didn't know they were in discussions to do it. Seems they are moving very fast, the post was recent.
Solana option is news to me. I don't know much about it. We'll see what this brings.
