An old acquittance called me yesterday to see if I could him with some shit with his computer. We don't hang out often but he is a pretty good chap so I figured I could give him a free hand.
Anyways, when the deed was done we talked a bit and told him about how it's been a year or so since I started collecting silver for a hobby. Well, to return the "favor" he gifted me 4 junk coins he got from his family some time ago. Nothing special, they are really, really, really junk though and barely recognisable 😂
If anyone can help me recognize them please throw a comment. I believe they are Turkish or something. If it's any help, they are pretty small and thin. Probably a couple grams each. Here's a comparison with a euro coin:
Too bad they look so shit but oh well, I can't complain as it was an unexpected surprise 🎉

Sure! Their weight in silver!
dude, they are ottoman coins lol :))) much history, many wow
The one in the upper right corner is most likely from around 1900. I have a similar one though mine is not silver. I'll try an old internet search to see if I find more precise information.
Potayto potato 🤷
ok big man, so the upper right coin is most likely a 2 kurus or something similar https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces232666.html it doesn't match perfectly but it's pretty close
the lower right coin is probably from Egypt: https://en.ucoin.net/coin/egypt-10-piastres-1916-1917/?tid=56969
the lower left coin you were to lazy to flip ( though it's most likely from Egypt as well )
and the upper left coin is so f-ed I can't figure out where to start looking for it
Hope it helps dear ser :)
Ah, it is said that the best gifts are surprised gifts. The script looks Arabic so it's probably from Middle East origins. The value has dwindled over the years....

You have created a Precious Gem!
There are probably 4 grams of pure silver in there. Not much for 4 coins that a friend had. But now they lie in a big heap and the heap has become bigger.
It's kinda like Arabic prolly from Turkish or maybe Egyptian.
Looks dayum Old... Such unexpected surprises are quite rare.
The coins have aged pretty bad, how pure is th silver?
Confirmed. They are Ottoman Empire coins. If they were in nice shape they’d be worth 🤑🤑🤑
No idea!
Can't complain, those are some interesting coins, even if they are worn down. Whatever they are, the look old!
Nothing like free silver!
Don't know about the one with the gold colored outer ring but the others are almost certainly middle eastern and probably fairly old by the wear. Possibly Turkish/Ottoman.
Quite look shit and valuable. Silver coin never disappoint 🙂
A great selection of coins. Excellent for stacking !

I also think its Turkish currency. Old is gold. All these coins are old but unique. I want to add all coins in my collection and also i will start to save my money in silver and gold because both prices are going up day by day.
I don't know if I would call this a coin or metal because every design on it is almost varnished.
Sorry, I'm sure in identifying old Turkish coins. Cool though.

Can also measure and weight em to help narrow it down unfortunately most the demonations are similar
It's too bad you can't see what they are but it looks like a lot of people chimed in with their guesses and it's similar to what I found using reverse google search.

They are Danish my good sir...
Part of the lost treasure of Viking King Thorrgrell the strong 💪
Just kidding 😂, if it has faded like that, isn't it just plain round flat silver😏
