Hello Lions and Zealers as well
InLeo has a ongoing initiative all weekends that can help you boost your interactions and know more communities, without having to compromise, yet, on long form posts. You will be able to find here motivators to kick-start your interactions and also mind like-minded people to make frens with.
Weekend threading
The bases are the same:
-Make a thread on the community using the community tag
-Reply to others
You will earn 1 HBD, 10 $LEO, and votes to the best from leo.voter
The specifics of the initiative are different on each case since each community has different targets.
The initiative has place every week from Thursday until Sunday (the hours are not so strict since it's based on organic interaction)

Communities and threads section
Any community will have this section, you can see a tab called "Threads" What is it?
It's the communities own threads section. There all the threads with the community tag of said community will be filtered and shown in they own timeline.
You can create a thread to communities on this three ways:
- Enter the community threads section and reply from there
- Memorize your favorite tags and write them even if you are on the main feed
- Use the community selection feature on planet icon next to the Thread button
Do's and Don'ts
Do's
- Use the community tag
- Use one or two topic related tags
- Use images
- Aim to at least 20 words (unless you run out of space of course)
- Reply to other users, as many as you want
Dont's
- Don't use inleo, zealy, threads, weekendthreading tags.
They serve no purpose unless you are directly talking about those topics. - Don't add more than five tags to a thread
- Don't add tags to random words
- Don't write threads with less than 5 words
- Don't drop your thread and ignore the rest
- Don't forget about the communities, you can thread beyond this initiative
I hope you like this initiative and can join us here. Happy Threading!
Note
If you have a community and wanna join this initiative hit me on the discord server or in the comments.

Thank you for sharing this out Jessica! For new comers to Hive like me - it is useful to see the different opportunities and community activities on Hive.
I've been trying to sample all the different activities so I can be a better explainer on Twitter and other legacy social media. Speaking of which it's good to see you active on the Twitter Spaces!
I'm glad you liked it. That is the idea. This activities are implemented so people can interact more and then find what they like here, which communities resonate with them and can continue to be their home beyond the initiative.
I saw your threadstorm when you tag me, I'm about the respond haha, but just a piece of information:
To create a threadstorm you reply always to the first thread, not to the latest.
If you reply the first it creates a chain you can see in one view, if you reply to the newest you have to click to open the next one.
I hope that helps for your next threadstorm 😁
Thanks I'll remember that for next time!
Awesome compilation. I'll look up a few of them.
Hey @anomadsoul I miss the #BeerSaturday challenge in this list. This is the longest running challenge on Hive as we do it since 328 weeks - see https://inleo.io/@detlev/beersaturday-328
Hi! This is not a compilation of initiatives on Hive or on Threads, but specifically a initiative where those are the ccommunities Participating. That is why there is no other but these ones on my post.
I could add it later as a special mention tho
It's interesting, having to participate in this makes the weekend lively.
Sounds interesting, but I have a question regarding the task, what is a threadstorm and where can I see this option to make something a little longer, I'm new to this hehe, I only do long post but I'm liking to make micropost.
I saw you made one. Sorry I didn't reply before, I haven't have much time to go through my notifications 😅
Hahaha don't worry, I can fix it, I'm just new to this Microblogging thing, thanks a lot anyway.
Congratulations @tsunsica! You received a personal badge!
Thank you for participating in the Leo challenge.
You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking
