I intentionally placed the vanishing point in the optical center for the horizontal shot and dead center for the vertical version. In general, I prefer horizontal images to vertical ones, depending on the subject.
In this case the horizontal frame gives some more depth to the aisle.
I like than one. The vertical add unnecessary information. If there were people siting close to the camera then vertical would work better than an empty shot
