That reply was talking about making modifications to the system partition in Android, which can't be done without root access. Mounting an Android phone's internal storage and/or its SD card on a computer may not require root access, since it's dealing with userland space, equivalent to the home directory in most OSes. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That also means that your keyboard with "autocorrect" won't be able to prevent your laptop from debugging your phone (or accessing your user files) unless it also has root access. 🤔🤓😏
