I read the news of people committing suicide because of the loss of their portfolio and it is really a sad news to read. I understand the pain of losing money because most of us in this space have seen this before and may still see in the future but all of those shaped our experience. I was in the midst of some newbies and people anticipating to buy their first crypto asset yesterday. They were eager to invest but I drew their attention to the bad side of crypto first.
The news of the bull is exciting but we all know that crypto is more than the excitement. There is the good, bad and ugly in the crypto space. Many institutions have been putting it first. Binance preached about it but people still fall, "do not invest more than you can afford to lose". Your $10m can turn 10$ because of unforeseen circumstances.
The question for a lot of people is if it is save to invest in crypto, my honest response is that it is 50/50. Anything can happen to your money and that is why big institutions warn before you sell off your house to invest in crypto.
To counter that, CZ sold his house to invest in crypto and today he is one of the Richest in the crypto space. Why, he invested in "long time", through Bitcoin. His major investment was bitcoin and today, I can only suggest assets like bitcoin to anyone. Anyone that ask for assets to buy to have peace of mind even when the market is crashing are the top leading assets with strong backings, like BTC, ETH and the rest.
One awesome thing I have seen on Hive in the last few years is the consistency despite being undervalued. Hive is an asset one can invest in to get consistent income either through curation or posting. In posting you invest time and in curation you invest money. Time is more valuable than money and that is why many people that their value on Hive is undervalued are leaving.
Hive is one place I plan to invest to curate within this year. $10,000 will be a great start. Even in this bull more fake assets are thronging the market and if you do not use your mind right, you will lose it along with your money.
