Yesterday we held a Brazilian live stream to talk about Hive and Leofinance, discussing some of the key points that make this ecosystem so amazing. So let's talk a little about that in this #threadstorm.

Everyone knows that claiming it's possible to make money by creating content on Hive is a great attraction, but those who have been here longer also know that it's not the main purpose of this ecosystem.

After we start our journey here, over time, we begin to realize the need to establish a network and interact with people, communities, projects, and much more in order to grow within this social media.
3/5🧵
More you interact, more you feel part of the ecosystem, and soon you will realize that you are giving your best to contribute. Hive becomes perfect name because we realize that we are bees working together: Make Hive strong!

Reading this made me realize how thin is the line between a community and a cult.
It's true though. Networking and helping each other is the best way to thrive here (and within most communities.)

Being active in your country's community and others you identify with will make you feel like someone important to Hive, and know that you are! It's us who build this environment every day, and that's what makes it so special!

I love that you are making those effort in Brazil too! Since I joined Hive Barquisimeto and started working for Hive I see everything with different eyes, and I see way more opportunities
I absolutely agree, engagement and interaction are the key factors in the hive in order to grow and I found Leo Threads as a great platform in this regard. As we keep growing, we should also focus on contribution as well. Nice threads Lock!
Yes you are right. We have to make our country's community stronger.
It's nice to know that there are many local Hive communities around the world, and they're doing their own streams and podcast.
While I don't know the language, I'm aware of some Philippines group(s) too doing the same.
Oh I wish there is some provision of a translation in these live events so that the new ideas can be understood by those who do not understand the local language
