1/ Beyond being a blockchain for iteration of web3 innovations, Hive blockchain also provides a healthy environment for robust brainstorming of possible Web3 improvements and use case additions. It was a moment of immense learning as @threespeak premiered an on-chain discussion on REPO loans in blockchain.
2/ REPO is a short-term lending mechanism that has long been a cornerstone in traditional financial markets, enabling liquidity management and collateralized borrowing.
Looking at remodeling REPO with web3 ideals would mark a huge turning point in the financial sector as it would give unhindered access to funding for entrepreneurs and emerging businesses that have built a solid reputation in their host community/blockchain.

3/ An attempt to create a decentralized REPO would mean that blockchain technology acts as the underlying infrastructure, which would have as its basic features: transparency, on-time transaction tracking, speed, efficiency, and ultimately, security to the lending process.

4/ The CTT podcast covered the prospect of creating a REPO loan smart contract on Hive, the potency to create an access to funding for entrepreneurs. Also, the likely challenges that could be encountered were also discussed.
5/ With Hive's model, repaying a received REPO loan with post-earning would be a great relief for participants. This is because it helps get more consistent on the blockchain with activities that would earn assets rather than thinking of how to convert fiat into crypto to pay-off the loans.
6/ REPO on Hive would lead to Stablecoin Utility. With HBD in lace, a REPO system on Hive will make more sense. Utilizing a stablecoin will help deal with risk questions, especially as we are concerned with cryptocurrencies.

I agree, but we need to be more demanding on UX. It has hurt #Hive since forever, but there aren't trained designers contributing with design and code to improve usability. Also the lack of reports make this annoyances a bit useless.
