Sadly, I fear that the advent of AI will cause abuse of these, and other, mechanisms to purchase upvotes to escalate out of control. There are users on Hive with >10k accounts, which makes even small profits potential to be exponentially multiplied, which will be abused.
Since it is impossible to completely eradicate these kinds of collusive exchanges, the platform will suffer them, to what end we will see.
I also eschew inorganic votes, without going to the length of inquiring of my upvoters as to whether they manually cast them, because it's a) none of my business to demand such information on Hive, and b) insulting, and c) impossible to actually check to see if someone is telling me the truth anyway. However, I do not solicit them, and neither do I autovote.
If social interaction is going to be automated, human society will be eradicated. AI can replace us all, if we want.
I do not want.
Thanks!

I had spent a good quality of time researching this subject from business model prespective. Noted, all their tricks. I can't openly share my research for many reasons. I hope you will understand. If you know anyone who can bring an end to this mess, I am willing to risk and pass information forward. I also understand whales will stay away from this matter cause of how it might hurt decentralization. There r just too many things in this equation.
With hopes of having a private discussion on this matter, my discord is: DLMMQB#6953 or you also find me on minds with "dlmmqb" tag.
I believe there are more ways to explore then which are obvious.
