Amala is unique to the Yoruba people of Nigeria, while egusi is still general to most tribe, this style of preparing egusi is unique to the ijebu people, it's more enjoyable with hand and spoon has no important with it.

wow! I remember my days in Lagos. I can't joke with amala with egusi soup. It's a good time to eat and be happy. One thing about it is that it's very nutritious

It's always a delight to eat Amala, most especially with gbegiri and ewedu.

I'll try that soon.

It LOOKS different from the Egusi I had. Would love to try this one as well

Oh this is mostly prepared this way by the ijebu tribe of the Yoruba people in Nigeria, it also taste great and you'll definitely enjoy it.

omoh, Amala is just special with the hands. Ate that a lot when I served in the south west

I can't agree less with you about that, Amala can't taste any better than when you eat it with hand.
