I know about it but I don't eat it. I find it weird too but it's a special snack in some cultures and usually costly too.

when I was in Shanghai in china, they have an insect night market, you can eat all kinds of bugs fried. I try ought about eating crickets but I realized I just wanted to brag to my friends so and that wasn’t a good enough reason
