Kraken Pro hat jetzt Perpetual Futures auf Hive gelistet. Großer Erfolg. Aber noch nicht Spot.
Der Unterschied zwischen Perpetual Futures und Spot ist, dass Futures eine reine unbefristete Spekulation auf den Preis des darunterliegenden Token sind. Das hießt, die Exchange hält die HIVE gar nicht und man kann die Hive Futures auch nicht auf die Hive-Wallet transferieren und umgekehrt. Es ist eine reine Preisspekulation meistens mit der Möglichkeit von Leverage, was Futures auch so riskant macht.
Als Spot bezeichnet man den regulären Markt, wo man das darunterliegende Asset 1:1 traden kann. Die Exchange hält das Asset dann auch (sollte es jedenfalls) und man kann die Tokens dann auf die eigene Wallet transferieren und umgekehrt.
Trotzdem können Futures (vor allem Termin-gebundene) auch große Auswirkungen auf den Spot-Markt und die Liquidität des darunterliegenden Assets haben, Trader versuchen sich mit Spot-Trades abzusichern bzw. große Wale den Preis zu beeinflussen, um bei den Futures mit Leverage abzucashen.
Insgesamt können Futures die Markt-Effizienz erhöhen, unter bestimmten Umständen die Volatilität eine Zeit lang reduzieren oder erhöhen, und auch mehr Aufmerksamkeit und Liquidität für das darunterliegende Asset schaffen.

Kraken Pro has now listed Perpetual Futures on Hive. Great success. But not yet spot.
The difference between perpetual futures and spot is that futures are a pure open-ended speculation on the price of the underlying token. This means that the exchange does not hold the HIVE at all and you cannot transfer the hive futures to the hive wallet and vice versa. It is pure price speculation, usually with the possibility of leverage, which is what makes futures so risky.
Spot is the regular market where you can trade the underlying asset 1:1. The exchange then also holds the asset (at least it should) and you can then transfer the tokens to your own wallet and vice versa.
Nevertheless, futures (especially forward-linked futures) can also have a major impact on the spot market and the liquidity of the underlying asset, traders try to hedge themselves with spot trades or use large whales to influence the price in order to cash in on the futures with leverage.
Overall, futures can increase market efficiency, reduce volatility for a time under certain circumstances or increase it, and also create more attention and liquidity for the underlying asset.

It is always good news to be on more exchanges but Hive needs to increase its capitalization a lot in order to have sufficient liquidity in spot markets.

Verstehe ich nicht. Muss nich irgendwann preis x oder y eintreten, damit man seine preiswette verlieren oder gewinnen kann?
Bei den Perpetual Futures nicht, wird wie der Token gehandelt, nur eben virtuell, ohne Deckung.

I hope spot comes around sooner rather than later, but I wonder if the futures will affect things much here. I think the futures are more volatile and the leverage there can be quite dangerous if used incorrectly.
Hopefully Hive Spot comes to Kraken sooner
