Algo que tuve en mente por mucho tiempo fue participar en el proyecto de Abstract. Tal vez lo postergué un poco, pero decidí comenzar a hacer las tareas en las que obtendría algunos badges que me servirían para calificar a un potencial airdrop. Si bien no hay nada dicho al respecto, sí que tenemos muchas más posibilidades de calificar si empezamos en el tiempo oportuno, sin perdernos de ninguno. Todavía tenía chance de reclamar los primeros, así que decidí comenzar a participar en cada uno de ellos.
Something I had in mind for a long time was to participate in the Abstract project. Maybe I procrastinated a bit, but I decided to start doing the tasks in which I would get some badges that would help me to qualify for a potential airdrop. While there is nothing said about it, we do have a much better chance of qualifying if we start at the right time, without missing any of them. I still had a chance to claim the first few, so I decided to start participating in each of them.

Uno siempre aprende cosas nuevas cuando se sumerge e investiga su entorno. Para mí fue algo nuevo saber que podía acceder con una billetera web3, pero también a través del uso de una cuenta de GMail. Con esto tuve que tener precaución, porque al entrar mediante este método, se me iba a crear una cuenta con una dirección de Abstract. La misma me serviría para acceder a distintas dApps en el ecosistema de Abstract, y lo que queremos es que todo el esfuerzo en Abstract y en las aplicaciones descentralizadas, se contabilicen.
Por esta razón es que consulté cómo funcionaba el acceso por mail, a lo que proseguí con esta idea. De esta manera, pude también participar en otros airdrops, como el de Bithub, que es un juego MMORPG en desarrollo, con un estilo cyberpunk muy interesante.
You always learn new things when you dive in and investigate your environment. For me it was something new to learn that I could log in with a web wallet3, but also through the use of a GMail account. I had to be cautious with this, because when I entered through this method, an account with an Abstract address was going to be created for me. This would be used to access different dApps in the Abstract ecosystem, and what we want is that all the effort in Abstract and decentralized applications are accounted for.
That is why I consulted how the access by mail worked, and I went ahead with this idea. In this way, I could also participate in other airdrops, such as Bithub, which is a MMORPG game in development, with a very interesting cyberpunk style.

Una vez dentro, lo primero que debía hacer era "fondear" la cuenta que se me había creado a través del acceso por mail. Lo que hice fue utilizar ChainLink y añadir en MetaMask la red de Abstract. Necesitaba pasarme Ethereum a la cuenta creada, pero antes debía hacer uso de un puente. El sitio te ofrece algunas opciones, aunque son opciones centralizadas, como utilizar CoinBase o algún exchange como Binance. En este caso, uno prefiere dejar pocos rastros sobre sus operaciones; además, estas opciones piden un mínimo, que puede ser de entre $10 y $20 dólares, cuando ahora mismo no necesitas mucho más para poder obtener los badge. Entonces elegí un puente, no el que me ofrecen de Jumper, sino uno que ya lo he utilizado algunas veces sin problemas, el cual es el de Relay.
Me cargué lo justo y necesario, ya que el fee del gas es extremadamente bajo; menos de $0.01. Esto me permitió poder cargar menos de $2, que en esta instancia es más que suficiente. Igualmente, si no estoy entendiendo mal, al depositar dinero en el sitio, la app no nos estaría cobrando una comisión por hacer una operación (gratuito), pero sí toma en cuenta el fee de la red, ya que estamos en una blockchain.
Once inside, the first thing I had to do was to “fund” the account that had been created for me through email access. What I did was to use ChainLink and add the Abstract network in MetaMask. I needed to pass Ethereum to the account created, but first I needed to make use of a bridge. The site gives you some options, although they are centralized options, such as using CoinBase or some exchange like Binance. In this case, you prefer to leave few traces about your operations; moreover, these options ask for a minimum, which can be between $10 and $20 dollars, when right now you don't need much more to be able to get the badges. So I chose a bridge, not the one offered by Jumper, but one that I have already used a few times without problems, which is Relay.
I charged just enough, since the gas fee is extremely low; less than $0.01. This allowed me to be able to charge less than $2, which in this instance is more than enough. Likewise, if I am not misunderstanding, when depositing money on the site, the app would not be charging us a commission for making a transaction (free), but it does take into account the network fee, since we are on a blockchain.

Existen de momento 5 badges muy sencillos de obtener. Creo que no me tardé ni siquiera media hora, pero son de mucha importancia reclamarlos. Eso sí, si haces las tareas pero no dispones de una cuenta fondeada, no podrás reclamarlos. Es similar a cuando quieres reclamar un NFT, necesitas pagar la transacción haciendo uso del gas.
Lo primero que obtendremos será el badge de cuenta fondeada. Pues obviamente es el paso que necesitamos realizar para poder reclamar todos los badge. Los siguientes seguramente sean los que tienen que ver con la parte social, como conectar las cuentas de Discord y X. También podemos votar aplicaciones descentralizadas, obteniendo un badge por ello. Por último, si nos pasamos fondos suficientes, al momento de comprar algún token (un simple swap), desbloquearemos ese badge de trader.
Sinceramente me he atascado ahora, debo averiguar cómo continuar, porque podemos desbloquear un plus que nos darán un incremento en el porcentaje de experiencia. Creo que tienen que ver con cuántos tokens holdeamos, por lo que deberé averiguar cuál es el mínimo, y si puedo llegar a permitírmelo. También hay un multiplicador que expira en muy poco tiempo, aunque parece que suele renovarse para nuevas oportunidades.
At the moment there are 5 very simple badges to obtain. I don't think it took me half an hour, but they are very important to claim them. Of course, if you do the tasks but you don't have a funded account, you won't be able to claim them. It is similar to when you want to claim an NFT, you need to pay for the transaction using gas.
The first thing you will get is the funded account badge. Obviously this is the step we need to take to be able to claim all the badges. The next ones are probably the ones that have to do with the social part, such as connecting Discord and X accounts. We can also vote decentralized applications, getting a badge for it. Finally, if we spend enough funds, when we buy a token (a simple swap), we will unlock that trader badge.
Honestly I'm stuck now, I must figure out how to continue, because we can unlock a bonus that will give us an increase in the percentage of experience. I think they have to do with how many tokens we loot, so I'll have to figure out what the minimum is, and if I can afford it. There is also a multiplier that expires in a very short time, although it seems that it is usually renewed for new opportunities.

Hay una sección de Streams que me parece interesante. Funciona relativamente bien, y podremos tener participación. De hecho ganaremos XP por hacerlo, lo cual viene muy bien para ir sumando a la barra de experiencia, e ir aproximándome a los 10,000 XP. ¿Qué es lo que sucederá si llego? La verdad que no tengo idea, pero sí siento que estaría calificando sin lugar a dudas.

Lo que recomendaría sería ver también en otros sitios donde Abstract tenga participación, como Galxe. Porque podríamos estar sumando interacciones, lo cual es muy necesario para escalar posiciones al momento en que suceda algún reparto.
Como estamos a tiempo sería buena idea que le eches un vistazo al proyecto, de manera tal que puedas aspirar a ser recompensado. Aunque teniendo en cuenta que el proyecto está ya en mainnet, debes considerar que tendrás que hacer algunos gastos, pues no es como en las testnet, que simplemente obtienes tokens de pruebas. Aquí haces uso de tu capital, viéndolo desde la perspectiva de la inversión. Eso sí, no utilices dinero que no estés dispuesto a perder (no por la seriedad del proyecto, sino por la volatilidad de sus tokens, que varios han representado una caída sustancial).

As we are on time it would be a good idea to take a look at the project, so that you can aspire to be rewarded. Although taking into account that the project is already on mainnet, you should consider that you will have to make some expenses, because it is not like in the testnet, where you just get test tokens. Here you make use of your capital, looking at it from the investment perspective. Of course, do not use money that you are not willing to lose (not because of the seriousness of the project, but because of the volatility of its tokens, which several have represented a substantial drop).
