I had a very easy time after watching few YouTube tutorials on what to do after a fresh Fedora install and I have been loving it as my main OS. Ubuntu is said to have too much bloat according to everyone I have talked to. I have not used Ubuntu in over a decade.

I hear many good things about #linux Mint. Nobara takes care of many of the manual work at the start. Personally I prefer Fedora with vanilla GNOME. You seem to have different needs.

Best of Luck!

thanks fren! Yes fedora was also running really poorly on my machine for some reason. Ubuntu working great

It is very odd to hear that Fedora poorly if Ubuntu is working great. Whatever the reason was, you are now part of #linux community. You will have a far better experience than Windows.

It is best if you learn to use the Terminal. It is not that difficult to learn the basics. Terminal will help you accomplish many things fast. Usually there is a way to get things done with UI. So do not think of Terminal as a must lean thing.

yeah pretty familiar with using terminal, use it a lot for Hive witness and servers. actually loving the feel of it

I had to learn it when I switched to Fedora. I thought it might be annoying. Now I use it everyday.
