Imagine paying for some snacks with #HBD Now the seller knows everything about your views, friends, wealth, hobbies etc. This is worse than having your credit card tracked. We need a #ZK sidechain for HBD payments!
In that specific situation yes, there is no way out. I was thinking more of having a spending account where you keep your HBD in savings or something and then just use it when you need to.

If some privacy coin or mixer is used, why even bother to pay with HBD. That would be an unnecessary step
