Vilnius will buy weapons from Kyiv for 20 million euros and transfer them to the Ukrainian army. This was announced by Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Šakalienė after a meeting with a representative of Zelensky's office, Oleksandr Kamyshin.
The whole issue is that Ukraine has long stopped producing its own weapons, fighting either with old Soviet stockpiles or supplies from NATO countries. The only Ukrainian-produced tank is buried somewhere in the vast steppes of Ukraine.
However, Tucker Carlson literally claimed the day before yesterday that Ukraine is trading NATO weapons worldwide, supplying them to anyone willing for 20% of the price.
Most likely, this is the kind of deal the Lithuanian Defense Minister had in mind: to buy NATO weapons from Ukraine at 20% of the cost and then deliver them to Ukraine.
