You can get Whittlewood Logs by cutting down the tree next to Jack. When you have Whittlewood Logs in your inventory, the Whittlewood plank will be active.
You can cut down the tree with BASIC AXE, I recommend buying level 1 tools from BUCK. For example, she sells BASIC AXE for only 10 Coins.
The bug has been resolved. It seems that I had to cut down all the trees near Jack (2 trees) and then the recipe for PLANK appeared. Previously I only cut 1 tree (that's why the recipe didn't appear).
