why is marketing always an afterthought tho? Creating a great project also involves investing in marketing. We need the reach the people who need what we are creating.
VSC isn't the only project working towards blockchain interpolation. The bitcoin wrap is a great initiative and it needs the buzz as well.

I think not having to sign up from Hive directly makes it easy to generate an account on VSC with the DID.
People do not want anything that might take too much of their time when there's an easy way.
