Any hosting service? where they have ready to run VSC image?
Non right now, but there are only 4 steps after you rent a server. Do you think a quick video to showcase that would be better than just a blog post?
Both :) ... I can take help of bala (privex) to set things up but knowing those details help if I plan on being wtiness some day.
We are talking about a VSC node, not a witness, and we already have the blog post: https://peakd.com/vsc/@vsc.network/call-to-action-setup-a-vsc-devnet-node
Maybe @privex can add a way for people to create a VSC node more easily but running a VSC node is way easier than running a Witness node.
thinking about running on a second location too 🧐
Why not? 😀
NO
And I have no idea what it means.
It means that there are not many resources need to run a node.
I've obviously been living under a rock because I've never heard of VSC until I saw a tweet earlier today.
Been trying to hunt-down system requirements (memory & disk mostly) for a node. Could I run it on a shared VPS with about 200MB free?
we suggest atleast 2GB of ram and 4 cores, with around 20GB free space on disk. Raspberry pi 4 should be sufficient
Thanks!
Wooow. I didn't know that! 🔥
