A little update on my development of hivekpi, I decided to change the layout a bit from a single page application to a hub for small tools I want to develop that could be useful for managing your hive account.
The first iteration was an interest calculator you can use to see how much your hive power HP will grow over long period of time. Below is a screenshot of what it looked like:
You can find a link to my first article here:

For the second iteration that I pushed last week you now arrive on a landing page that will host the different "miniapps" as you can see in the screenshot below I have 3 options, the primary and default one is the Projection Tool, the second one I plan on doing is the daily goals which I want to use to track my activity on inleo. I hope to do the first version by the end of October.
I left a spot for the third app, I don't know what it will be about, if you guys want to see something here drop it in the comments, I am looking to build a simple tool using software that could be useful for us users. Maybe it could be a community built app, I am thinking of potentially doing that with the subscriber feature that inleo is building.
For the second layout I wanted to use the standard 3 column layout that people are use now days, for the moment I have hidden the right columns because I am not sure what I want to put there but the code is done.
I have added a nice banner to get people to inleo.io with my referral in case people outside are looking at the site, maybe a crypto investor that want to project his potential passive revenue on Hive before buying in.
The main difference with the first iteration is the fact that apps are loaded in the middle area in a container instead of using the entire page. You will be able to switch between different apps, at the moment changing page won't save your data and you will have to input it again.
I think I have a lot of CSS work to do as well and maybe find some better colors to make it more consistent. It is a project I am developing as I go and the latest version might be totally different. I like also the idea of posting updates on Hive, it make for some content and people can see progress of me developing tools the way I see fit.
As I said I am open to comments on what to do next.
Quick exemple on how it works:
Input your starting HP (default 7k) and number of year (default 20), the APR is calculated when you load the page, it is very dynamic and depends on some numbers I get from the blockchain via API nodes. During the weeks since I started I noticed today that it just dropped below 3% (this is the passive amount of HP you get just for holding).
The most important variable here is the curation rate you can get over the years, Increasing it by 1 or 2 % can make a big different in 20 to 30 years.
On this screenshot I tried with
32kHP ; 30 years ; 2.97% HP APR ; 8% curation APR on HP amount ; no monthly contribution.
You can see that after 30 years with no contribution you would get 774k HP from the initial 32k if you can maintain those percentage APR over time.
Without taking into account the price of hive it is still a lot of growth, we really underestimate the power of compounding interests and revenue reinvestment.
