I was "encourage" by Bittrex to withdraw any funds left which was about $3. To do so you have to login with 2FA then it is a pretty straight forward process, no additional data was requested at this time(no extra KYC). After that I sent a closing account request via their bot which can take 48 hours apparently. I will let you know how that turns out. 
I still have $1 in BTC and Tether I couldn't withdraw due to network fees, I hope they can sort it out, I would be willing to give Bittrex the assets I have left on this account in order to close it.
Good riddance, sorry about Bittrex but CEXes are destined to eventually die out. Good luck with the funds fren!
