So lets settle a few things..... Weve all got our personal preferences when it comes to "stacking" Precious Metals, but when all is said and done there can be truly only one!

We may have touched on this before, but i dont think weve ever gone in to this much detail and length to really discover which coin is the communities favourite.

The Krugerrand gold coin was first released in 1967 by the Rand Refinery in South Africa. The coin was released as a way to capitalize on the gold mining industry in South Africa, and for the country to monetize the gold. Furthermore, in the 1960s, retail investing in physical gold became quite popular, and even trendy. Krugerrand gold coins were first released in 1967, and were immediately successful. The demand for the coins continued to grow, and by 1979 the Rand Refinery was minting more than 3,000,000 coins annually.[SOURCE](https://www.suissegold.eu/en/product/1-ounce-oz-2023-south-african-krugerrand)

The Chinese Panda gold coin is issued annually by the China Mint, which is owned by the People’s Bank of China. Originally launched in 1982, the series features an image of a Chinese Panda on the front of the coin, which is updated annually. These coins are produced annually with a limited mintage, which can add to the coin’s value over time. The front of each coin feature’s Beijing’s Temple of Heaven on the front. The coin’s year of minting, 2023, is located at the bottom of the coin. The reverse side of the coin features an image of two panda bears. They are sitting in a tree, facing and reaching out towards each other. These coins have a legal tender value of 500 Yuan. The coin’s weight of 30 grams and purity of 999 can also be found on the top left of the coin.[SOURCE]https://www.suissegold.eu/en/product/2023-30-gram-chinese-panda-gold-bullion-coin-500-yuan-face-999-fine)

We're now in to week four of this competition. With two very strong coins battling it out last week, but with a resounding vote of confidence in the good ol' USofA "lady liberty", the Yanks march on to the next round.

Do you agree with this result?? If not, you probably should have voted!! Regardless, the 1oz Libery gold coin marches on to round two, where it will join the 1oz Canadian Maple and the Mexican Libertad.

This week we see South Africa Vs China... Theres no love lost here between these two BRICS nations. The no nonsense unchanging Krugerrand may find its match from this communist cuddly assassin. So the question remains, for building a multi generational store of value, which one would you pick and why?? Simply leave a comment below or upvote the corresponding image in the comments.

While I'm not a big China fan these days the Panda is a much prettier coin!

Most fakes coin 🪙 I find. Many good fakes of it. I stay away. But it is a beauty though!

I agree, you have to buy from a reputable buyer who stands by their product. You can't trust private sellers on these items and graded items are too expensive.

Tough, I have to flip a coin for this choice.

The Philharmonic can't touch the walking Liberty, as for this week I would have to go with the panda

I have both in gold. I prefer the Krugerrand.

I like the one which has a picture of deer on it, it's beautiful

All these coins looks so beautiful and amazing but panda design coin is my favorite. Its looks fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

I’m team #Krugerrand 🪙🙌

Panda coin seems to be the most popular

I like seeing the 1/2 oz Fine Gold on the 1/2 Krugerrand... The Number 500 and the 30 g doesn't make as much sense to me... I'll Pick the Krugerrand...
