In the comments I get a asked if there are free-to-play play-to-earn games as a lot of them come with a cost of entry. This is true and not only do you need to pay to start a lot of them but some of them can really cost quite a far amount just to even play the game.
But I kind of over-looked this one after I downloaded it and tried it out. I played it for a bit but the tutorial was a little long and without any clear way to earn it seemed one that I could put on the back-burner until more updates came out. But I did miss the season 0 pass which is open now and by leveling up in the pass you can get NFT items and even blankos that you can sell on the market. I don't know about being able to cash out but right now there is a way to earn and it will cost you nothing.
What Is Blankos?
It is a third person game where people can create different games in the game that you can play. You can make a racing game where your little guy runs to beat other players or a third person shooter type match. You would join these games and try to win depending on what the rules are. I only played the tutorial but the game runs smoothly and looks like a high quality title. It is easily one of the top games when it comes to blockhain in terms of quality.
Yeah But How Do I Earn?
If you want to make money you need to get a season pass which is free right now. They will be added a pay route for the pass when the seasons start but I think they will still have a free option where you can earn rewards (they just won't be as good as the rewards in the pay path). By doing daily challenges you will level up in the pass and get things like XP and Moolah. There is cash which is in-game and crypto cash and you can get both in the pass. But of course you won't get much of the crypto cash so don't think that's where the earnings will come from.
Where money might come from are the NFTs that you can unlock such as wearables for your blanko and if you level up to almost the end you get a rare blanko for that season which you could sell at a later date. This is hearsay as I only heard if from a guy in chat in a video but he sold his from last month's for $800. This season is about 45 days so that would be an okay earning if you are playing the game for fun plus you could sell the wearables too.

You Can Also Buy Blankos
There is also the options to buy blankos. When you buy them them you can keep them in their virtual box so they are worth more of play with them and level them up (but lose that in-box value). There was a burberry shark blanko that came out a couple of weeks ago and I'm not gonna lie if I had the cash free I would've bought it. I might still get it for a decent price if it is on sale in the future. This will not earn you anything but you can re-sell them later hopefully at a higher price.
All About The Pass
This is the only way I've seen that people can earn right now it levelling up in the pass and getting NFTs for playing the game. It is the only game right now doing this and it is a system that can work especially if the pay pass nets you rewards that are worth a lot more than the original cost to entry. You can always earn new wearables and blankos as the seasons progress and if you hold on to them they might be worth a lot more if the game really takes off.
The Market Will Depend On The Player Base
Like always these blankos will only have value if people are buying them and this will be heavily dependent on how well the game does. They recently raised a good amount of money so I see a future here but time will tell how big they can get and if people want to play this.
I will keep an eye on this game (and that burberry outfit, so nice) in the future but it is a lot of time spent to start to see earnings. But it's a fun game and 100% free so I highly recommend trying it out and seeing what you can unlock if you have the time.
