Now that crypto is becoming hot again with the Q4 bull possibility, lets brush up on some words that you might come across as people talk about their bags and moons. Odds are we will be hearing more and more crypto talk over the next year or so if this bull run continues and there might be a bit of hysteria if bitcoin breaks the 50k mark and heads north to the 100k plus levels. I have no idea if it will happen and things can turn just as fast so please only invest with money you can afford to lose.
Liquidity Pool
This is a pool with two coins that can be swapped for each other whenever a user wants to exchange one for another. For example this could be ETH and LEO. There needs to be the same amount of each coin in $ value for the pool to work and when you exchange one coin for the other this could raise or lower the value of the coins. This concept is a game changer in crypto as it gives every coin liquidity which means any project can money in and out when they need to.
Dapps
This stands for decentralised applications. This is an app that is on a blockchain and should be run with nodes that are spread out instead of one centralised source. Leo is an example of a dapp where you can earn money for your content in crypto and the site runs on a blockchain.
Bull And Bear Market
This is not a crypto term but a market term in general but since it comes up a lot and new people might be unaware of what it means I thought I would add it. A bull market is when things are positive and going up and a bear market is when things are negative and the prices are going down. You can remember it by a bull charging or a bear slashing downward.
Bags or Stack
These are your coins that your are holding. If you have a full bag of a coin then you have a lot of that currency. A stack is the same thing as a bag. You are filling your bag or building your stack of a coin.
Bag Holder
This is usually a negative turn that you are left holding the bag of a coin that is going nowhere.
HODL
This just means hold. A lot of people think it stands for hold on for dear life and while that can be true originally it was just a drunk person who misspelled hold on reddit when they were upset that bitcoin was dropping. If you are hodling it means you are holding your coin and waiting to get a good retrun,
Moon
This is your coins going up to a high level. You want your coins to moon so you can sell your bag and not be a bag holder who hodled for nothing. There we used them all in a sentece.
FOMO
This stands for fear of missing out. When people rush in to buy a coin because it is mooning that they are fomoming into that coin. This can be dangerous as it can lead to people getting rekt if the coin dumps.
REKT
This is when a person loses a lot of money because they bought a coin for a high amount of money and then it dumped on the market.
FUD
This stand for fear, uncertainty and doubt. This is when people spread negative information about a project to make it look bad. This information can be true but this term is used mostly for false attacks to lower the price of project.

I think I first got to know about noon because I came to steemit when it the price of SBD was going crazy so noon was a popular word used back then, so I kind of learnt the meaning of the rest, especially Hodl when that bear market decided to hit. Hahaha old memories.
