Hello Everyone,
Top of the news today in crypto is an odd one even for crypto, and while I don't pretend to know what the point is, I know that the official story is one of the lamest stories I've heard.
Apparently these two odd balls are not charged with the hack but rather with having the keys to a wallet that holds the funds, which of course they kept on the cloud.
I think the over the top point of the story for me, which identifies it as nonsense is the "bag of burner phones" neatly labeled under the couples bed.
I mean what crypto thief doesn't have a bag labeled "Burner Phones" under the bed to help prosecutors?
So, let's speculate what this story is really about? Damaging crypto's reputation?
Did the FED have this Bitcoin all along and now they want to sell it and they need to explain how they got it?
I don't know, what are your thoughts on this story...

Seems legit. I always used to write, "Weed for flushing if police come," on all my bags (back when weed was illegal), then put it under the bed, where all the important things requiring a good hiding spot go.
I label all my illegal items...

I don't really know what to make of it but I don't think they are the hackers. If anything, they might be an accomplice to help move some funds. Also we know nothing about the person who ratted them out nor have they shown any evidence that they were indeed part of the scheme.

Well, I keep my bag of "burner phones" right next to my bag of "guns to kill people with". My bag of "stolen property" I keep downstairs. I keep them labeled so as not to get confused. It's pretty embarrassing to try to kill someone with a burner phone...or alternatively call someone with a gun.

I must admit this story made no sense and still doesn't. If you are that smart to hack you do not do what they do and use a cloud to store your keys on. $3billion plus in value plus you are hiding out in the States of all places. Too many question marks on this story and most likely the FED are covering far more up. They think everyone is stupid which most are unfortunately along with being gullible.
