Really, what do you suggest they do
Reading, doing some physical activity, volunteering... The options are quite diverse.
I personally do away from watching TV just becasue of repeated ads...that has an impact on my psychology...it's actually not good when those ads are repeatedly being poping up.
Do we still have free time these days? I haven't sat in front of TV for as long as I can remember. I don't even watch streaming on my phone. There's just no time for that.
