Well I work with kids, specially teens, so I'm not making this stuff up. But it's funny that you don't compare timing of today to let's say 20 or 30 or even 50 years ago. You compare it to the time when markets were extremely introverted. If you look at the US, 19th century was very productive century. Same in Europe, specially France and Germany. Most big cities were build in that time. US has no productivity today -its all about services. You can not compare today to 150 years ago. Around 2k, people were thinking about dreams - that in near future machines will be doing jobs and they will sit and live happily their life... I am not saying this is wrong, but look at the reality around.
