WOO Staking
As stated previously, we enabled staking for the $WOO token, but no staking rewards were being offered upon release. If you remember, we also said we would give the #woonft community 48 hours' notice before staking rewards occur. Well, this is your 48-hour notice to start staking as WOO staking rewards will go live on Thursday! That's right; now, you can stake all your $WOO you have earned from daily airdrops, hourly NFT mining, and daily LP rewards and earn even more $WOO!
This has all been made possible by our lead developer @tobias-g, who has yet again gone above and beyond to deliver utility to our WOO token holders. A special thank you is in order.
Mining & Airdrops Explained
As previously stated, we launched WOO token airdrops and WOO NFT mining on July 13th, when the token was released. Users who hold unopened WOOALPHA, WOOSATURN, and WOORAVEN packs will get daily airdrops at 1830 UTC daily. You can check your airdrop eligibility on our airdrops page.
WOO NFT mining has also been a massive hit with the #hive and #woonft community. These hourly airdrops occur once every hour. More information on WOO NFT mining can be found here, but don't forget, ALL WOO NFTs CAN MINE THE $WOO TOKEN! Check your NFT mining eligibility here, but make sure you're signed in to your hive account, or the page won't appear. WOO NFTs can be purchased individually on our official marketplace.
How To Stake $WOO & Claim Rewards
Users will be able to stake/unstake their $WOO Tokens from their Hive-Engine or Tribaldex wallets, and users will also be able to stake/unstake their tokens on our website.
Staking rewards will pay out every five blocks (every 15 seconds), and the initial reward pool will be 10,000,000 $WOO tokens with 290,000,000 $WOO tokens added over the next 60 months.
Unlike the ability to stake/unstake, users must go to our official website after 48 hours from the time of this post to claim their staking rewards. This will help us grow our Google search rating and incentivize users to make a habit of coming to our website leading up to the official game launch.
Be aware that any $WOO token currently in the process of being unstaked (4 transactions over 28 days) will not count towards your staking rewards, and $WOO will be paid out to users as staked $WOO and not liquid $WOO. We believe this will further incentivize users to hold their $WOO in anticipation of the Q4 General Sale, which can only be purchased with $WOO.
