What is RollerCoin? Hi, I'm Xenix, and today I'll explain what it is. RollerCoin is a mining simulator that lets you mine cryptocurrencies. Currently, you can mine 17 different cryptocurrencies, but to do this, you'll need power. Power determines how much you can mine, and the more power you have, the more you’ll earn. This power is measured in gigahashes, terahashes, petahashes, exahashes, and zetahashes, each being 1,000 times the previous unit. For instance, 1,000 gigahashes equals 1 terahash.
Why is power so crucial? Think of it as a cake. Every 10 minutes, a block of cryptocurrency is distributed, and everyone wants a slice. The more power you have, the bigger your share. Importantly, you can divide your total power however you like; for example, you could allocate 50% of your power to Dogecoin and the other 50% to RollerToken (for more details, check my friend’s @ssindosa's guide on mining options).
So, how do you gain power? You’ll need miners, essential machines that mine the cryptocurrencies you choose. Each miner contributes a fixed amount of power, and some even offer a bonus percentage, so your total power comes from all the miners you have plus any bonuses. To place miners, you’ll need racks. The type of rack you purchase determines how many miners you can fit. You can have multiple rooms (up to four), and your total power and bonus percentage are visible on the main page.
How do you get miners? There are several ways: you can buy them, earn them through rewards, participate in crafting events, or take part in sales within the in-game store and marketplace just now that buying miners from the marketplace is most of the time cheaper than crafting it or buying it from the in game shop (the marketplace itself needs a guide and I will do that next week). The economy is based on RollerTokens (RLT), the game’s primary currency, which you can mine in your room. A good strategy is to start by mining RLT to purchase miners and build your power before venturing into other cryptocurrencies.
You might wonder how to get started if you need power for mining, miners for power, and RLT for miners. Don’t worry! There are many ways to acquire RollerTokens or miners as a beginner. You can earn RLT by completing tasks in missions, joining events on Discord, or participating in game events. You can also obtain miners through giveaways.
For those who aren't planning on investing, getting power and making crypto is possible as a free2play. As I said, you can participate in giveways and events; some of them are made for the f2p, like puzzle events or the new race events. You can also make RLT and get miners with the free pass by doing quests, earning XP, getting RST, and exchanging those RST for rewards in the season shop, all of this for free.
RST is a token like RLT that you can earn through quests, progression events and in the free pass. At the end of the season you can buy miners, parts and boxes with those hard earned RST.
As for the task wall, this is also a way of getting rlt for "free". Task wall is a mechanic on rollercoin that rewards you with RLT for playing games, doing surveys and watching videos but the available tasks are based on where you live.
this was asked yesterday on the Ask-Me-Anything Session:
Q: Will they do something to make it possible to perform the task wall in Ukraine because it is difficult to perform them?
A: The availability of certain tasks is strictly at the advertiser's discretion. The only thing we can do here is add more task walls for you to choose from. That's exactly what we're doing; we're currently working on the addition of another task wall provider!
But for those who won the birth lottery and have access to good surveys and tasks, you can earn good rlt by doing those tasks and climbing the weekly and monthly learderboards for even more rewards.
Now, let’s discuss minigames. These offer another way to gain power. Winning a minigame grants you temporary power, which adds to your overall power capacity. If you max out your computer's level, this added power lasts for 7 days. Additionally, winning games can also yield free rewards, including RollerTokens or miners.
That's all for me now thanks for reading, I hope this tutorial helped you understand how rollercoin works. If y'all want a specific guide on each type of event or a more in-depth guide on how to start getting miners and mining RLT from nothing, let me now and I'll do that ASAP.
