Today I walked into the HiperDino Supermarket in San Isidro (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain), and I bought a €25 Euro Bitnovo Coupon/Voucher.
I paid for the Cupon/Voucher with €1 Euro and with €2 Euro coins.
I created a Bitnovo account, then I successfully verified my account, then I successfully redeemed the €25 Euro Bitnovo Cupon/Voucher.
I received 0.00035023 Bitcoin (BTC), which is currently (as of 2024.10.31, 14:50 WET) worth €22.77 Euro.
I keep this amount of Bitcoin (BTC) for now.
Maybe I will buy Hive Dollars (HBD) with it later to put it into savings to receive 15% APR interest on it.
At least I think about it.
What about you?
Have you ever bought any cryptocurrency with cash (either with banknotes or with coins)?
What would you do with this amount of Bitcoin (BTC)?
Similarly to my previous post, I have set @commentrewarder as a beneficiary (10%) for this post too to encourage writing comments.
I've not bought crypto for cash. That ought to be fairly anonymous, but how much info did you have to give to Bitnovo? I've done it via my bank account on Transak, but that was not working for me this week.
Bitnovo is not anonymous at all.
They have KYC (Know Your Customer).
To verify your Bitnovo account, you have to upload either your ID card, or your passport, and a photo about your face, your employment status, and your address.
I uploaded my passport.
