The content length does not really matter, if there are no content consumers.
Maybe if you write mostly for yourself.
Currently ThreeSpeak (3Speak) is a socially not working platform.
Most of the upvotes are automated. The so called curators do not even see the content they curate (upvote). Actual, real views are rare.
This is often true for Hive blog posts too.
Most Hive users focus on their own posts.
And most Hive posts are ignored/overlooked because of this.
There is a general lack of context consumers on this platform.
Most Hive users focus on the monetary aspect so much that they forget (do not care) about the content.
This is how most Hive users socially ruin an otherwise technically revolutionary platform.
Hive needs proper marketing to reach actual content consumers.
People, who actually care about the content.
You are right, the lack of real engagement is a big problem. When everyone focuses on rewards, it takes away from the real purpose of sharing content and building a community. Without people who actually enjoy the content, the platform becomes about posting just to earn money, not to have meaningful conversations
