MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor said he’ll get three minutes to pitch Microsoft on why it should buy Bitcoin — to make it a more stable and less risky stock.
This is one of the reasons why it is hard to convince corporations/companies to accept and/or buy Bitcoin (BTC).
Because the price of the Bitcoin (BTC) is volatile, and it has high fees.
Once Steam is accepted Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment method, but they no longer support it because of the above mentioned things.
In order to make Bitcoin (BTC) more stable and less risky, Michael Saylor should rather convince Microsoft to accept Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment method, instead of buying it.
More corporations/companies and more stores should accept Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment method.
If Microsoft only buy Bitcoin (BTC), then probably that will increase further only the speculation, and not the acceptance of the cryptocurrency.
Well that’s two sides of the story. For institutional investors/holders the „store of value“ narrative why they dive into Bitcoin. The medium of exchange topic will follow later imo.
