After the legal reserve, legal tender may come for Bitcoin. Or at least those seem to be the steps being taken in some US states.
There is a bill underway in the state of Arizona that would expand the definition of legal tender in the state, allowing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to be introduced.

This would undoubtedly be a major step forward for the adoption of cryptocurrencies among the population. In the case of Bitcoin, its limited number has already shown that it is a currency of questionable use at best. But it could open up possibilities for others, especially stablecoins.
I think this is what all these initiatives are really pursuing, rather than putting Bitcoin into use.
On the other hand, there are quite a few doubts, since the vote in the Arizona case was 6 to 4, and that shows a lot of political division. Currencies cannot be dependent on a political change in the administration, otherwise we will have chaos every four years. These types of laws must have larger majorities and a much broader consensus if they are to endure over time.
