That is a really weird report. They appear to be judging decentralized networks based on hits to centralized sites in the network.
People on HIVE use different interfaces to connect to the blockchain.
As I recall, the most popular HIVE interface is Splinterlands. A lot of people use PeakD.com, Waivio, Iliketu or leofinance as their principle interface ... not to mention all of the cookie cutter tribes.
One can't judge HIVE by the traffic to Hive.blog as hive.blog was intended to be a sample interface and not the only centralized interface.

Top 15 Most Popular claiming to be Decentralized Social Media in 2023

HIVE has hundreds of sites that interface with HIVE and Hive-Engine. Steemit is down to a dozen.
