Leofinance is the crypto and finance community on the Hive blockchain. One of its main purposes is in providing the tools and opportunities to help people achieve financial freedom.
Power up day has become a tradition on the blockchain. The most notable is the Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) which happens on the first day of each month. Since June, LPUD has also become a tradition and today will mark its 5th Edition. LPUD happens on the 15 of every month.
‘Power up’ just means staking your liquid tokens. Staking is a way to increase one’s influence on the ecosystem. And the more staked tokens one has, the more influential they become. The goal on power up day is to stake as much as one possibly can.
Commitment And Support
LPUD is a way for the community to show its support for the Leo ecosystem by locking up (staking) as many liquid Leo tokens as possible. This not only shows one’s support and believe in the project but also that one is in it for the long term and contributing to its growth.LPUD is like a ceremony to celebrate and show one’s appreciation to the leofinance community. Leofinance is one of the most active communities on Hive in terms of engagement and with the not so recent launch of Threads (Microblogging), this is about to go to another new level!
Regular leofinance users can attest that something exciting is always happening (or is about to happen) in the Leoverse. Both from the social side and technical side, introduction of use cases on Pride Ranks, first ever leofinance roundtable talk, new updates and features etc. So leofinance is also one of the most exciting communities on Hive.

As an incentive and a way to make things more exciting, juicy prizes are up for grabs on LPUD. To stand a chance to win one of the prizes requires following some simple rules.
