RE: A Messed Up World

Scary times for everyone and I think anyone and everyone that just sits on their hands and waits for things to happen is in for a nasty surprise when it comes to the recession.

One thing that I heavily disagree with is any system that propagates the devaluing of human man hours. We are not very advanced as a species if all we are doing is forcing our lower end to work for cheaper and cheaper.

It seems that the sum consequence of that is having an inflating lower class who turn to crime. South Africa is a good example of that. Some of the lower rich fall to Middle Class, Middle Class (almost non-existant in South Africa) falls to Lower Class. Some of the very rich take the opportunity to get more rich but eventually you get to a point where an economy becomes a joke and if they are the only ones with food on the table but the rest of the people uphold the framework of providing them that food... well then the rich get attacked and they get no service.

There is a lower limit to what I can be paid for my human time. Otherwise, I will build an illegal cabin up in the mountains and grow vegetables there and pay no tax. This would be my response to economic collapse. Go somewhere remote and just grow to feed myself and my family.

Money is nothing if it is not managed and distributed correctly. If there is not enough incentive to pay for someone for an honest day's work then the leverage of the rich disintegrates.
