We make this thing a many many number of ways. Usually around Cape Town a lot of Fish and Chip Shops and other takeaway places will serve the chips and garnish on a roll with a variety of meaty toppings. So this one has Masala Beef, which is spicy but yeah... the look of BBQ saucy beef on chips made me think of this when Googling Zuurvlees.
